Tressa's Night

It was a very fun and exciting night as Albert and I were able to watch our youngest child receive an award for being a Texas Scholar. I was also emotional knowing that my last child will be graduating from High School in just a couple of weeks. We are so proud of her and she has certainly grown up to be a wonderful woman. Man, in just a few months she will start college!

Tomorrow I will have prom pictures up - so come back to see them!

Around LAST3 Ranch

Yesterday was a busy day when Grandpa got home from work! He and Charley mowed the front yard; then we went to burn. Charley loves being outside and he is a big helper! We also got the horse stuff ready so all we had to do was let them in at 8. It was really good that we did that because I forgot about them and let them in at 8:45 - let me tell you - they were not happy with me! ha!

Charley is so funny, when he thinks a branch is too low he has to duck. Grandpa is playing along with him.

Got Charley at the right time - he was looking!!

My awesome hubby put in sprinklers for me! My flowers are so happy! Right now all I have to do is turn the knob and they get watered, soon we will get a timer and then won't worry about a thing! :) That makes it really nice when we are able to go out of town, then I don't have to worry about my flowers at all!
I didn't want Albert to have to dig under the sidewalk, so I moved the flowers to a more convenient area to be watered. I love to put colorful items in the garden so that when you walk around you can see pretty and different things. So this little rock garden just has fun things in it for you to gaze upon.
Here is the ceiling of the man cave. We bought 1 x 4's and are putting them up to trim the paneling. It is truly looking great in there! It is fun to go in and just escape from the hustle and bustle in the house.
